2021 Carer Awareness Day —Overtime all the time—TAKE A BREAK!


Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (BOKSS) always accords high importance to the needs of carers, funded by The Community Chest of Hong Kong, Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (BOKSS) CARE College responds to the diverse and changing needs of carer through a brand new "academy" model.


CARE College organizes “Carer Awareness Day” every year to promote related carer topics. This year’s “2021 Carer Awareness Day —Overtime all the time—TAKE A BREAK!” will be held on 27th and 28th May with the theme “TAKE A BREAK”. In addition to encouraging carers to pay attention to their own physical and mental health, and therefore reminds them to take enough rest, we also advocates “Caregiver Rest Day”, so that carers can have time off.


Moreover, BOKSS and co-organizers will hold various events and workshops related to the physical and mental health of carers in different districts, starting from 24th to 28th May. Carers and public are welcome to join these activities.


“365 Days Appreciation Campaign” is also launched in this year, to encourage public express their heartfelt thanks to carers, as well as to raise the awareness of carers and public to the needs of caring role.
