Mission
We apply outreaching approach to reach out to residents in the district, identify needy families and people in advance, assess their needs, provide referral services and assist establishing a mutual aid networks in achieving a harmonious and caring community.
Aims
- To provide appropriate social welfare services for those needy in the district
- To encourage families to recognise and make good use of community resources and thus enhancing their problem solving abilities toward individual and family issues.
- To cultivate families in the district spirit of mutual help and therefore building a community-based support network.
Target
Families and individuals living within Yau Ma Tei and Tsim Sha Tsui, including:
Low-income families
New arrivals from the Mainland and ethnic minorities
Elderly living alone
Single parent families
Families encountering difficulties in taking care of children
Unemployed individuals
Youth at risk
Individuals facing distress in family relationship
Other individuals requiring social welfare services
Service Scopes
Referral Services
Through home visits, street exhibitions and counselling stations, we can reach out to families and people in need within the district,
identify and assess their needs and thus providing assistance and referral services.
Provision of Information about Community Services
We provide information such as public housing applications, vocational training, community benefits, financial assistance,
medical care, psychiatric rehabilitation and education.
Volunteer Services
Volunteer recruitment and training sessions will be regularly held which aim at exploring and serving families or people in need
in the district and thus building a community of mutual care.
Social Support Network
We take the initiative to establish support networks with various organisations within the district, such as education groups,
schools or other service organisations, etc., and to provide support to needy families in advance.
How to Apply
Interested parties are welcome to apply the services in person or via outreaching services, phone calls or referrals.
Withdrawal Procedure
Participants may directly raise their withdrawal to our staff.

Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Closed on Sunday and Public Holidays
