The fact that the virus has been contained and the
loosening of restrictions on social contact should be the
most significant piece of information to emerge in 2023.
Even though some things are being released, our
services have not been slackened in any way. Still driven
by passion and faith, our team is dedicated to offering
help to people in need. We have high hopes that the
people who use our services will be able to get their lives
back to how they were before the pandemic and be ready
for another year.
Winter is the time for sending warm wishes. Hong Kong has been affected by COVID-19 for 3 consecutive years. Although the government further relaxes the disease prevention measures, we are staying vigilant. Thank you to our members of staff who continued to serve the community with dedication and professionalism and provide service to those in need through various ways and mediums. Also, we are sending warmth and blessings to the members.
BOKSS has experienced the changes of society for 40 years, we fully aware of the great responsibility and mission, we have been persisting in the blend of belief and professionalism, serving the community holistically. Moreover, up to now, our staff has been upholding the innovative service vision and implement “Christian Social Service” in different ways, to pass down the love of god and BOKSS’ mission.
It’s 40th Anniversary of Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service, our theme for this year is “Pass on God’s Love, Embrace the Era”. BOKSS has been incorporating Christian belief in professional social work practice, preaching gospel through the services. Meanwhile, our staff members aim to close the service gaps, we provide services aptly and timely to people in need while addressing their needs. We walk with the public in different moments and witness the service needs in each era, in order to implement “Christian Social Service”
Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service has officially entered its 40th Anniversary in 2022. Thanks God for the guidance in the past 39 years, we strive to incorporate Christian belief and professional social work at all times and walk along with the service users. Moreover, we would like to thank you for the long term support from our working partners, to close the service gaps with us by various means to create innovative services and respond to social demands. Also, we appreciate our staff members enduring hardship while facing innumerable challenges in the past, dedicated to bringing a positive change in society..
2021 has come and gone, and 2022 is just right around the corner, which means Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service is going to have its 40th anniversary. BOKSS strive to incorporate Christian belief and professional social work through serving society to live out the mission of Christ. We look forward to collaborating with all of you to usher in our 40th anniversary hand-in-hand.
It's now the first half of 2021. In the past 6 months, there are vaccines to prevent coronavirus, but the pandemic is still uncertain, people are still panic about it.
Even so, we are not discouraged, and we have to remain motivated in the adversity, to keep looking for new opportunity and conquer the challenges every day. We believe to strive continuously and make new progress. We can create a loving and positive atmosphere for the community,
in order to turn adversity into prosperity.
At the beginning of 2021, we believe everyone has a hope in the new year. We hope the pandemic will pass; we
hope everyone stays healthy, we hope there is no more quarantine needed.
Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service pulled out all our stops to continue our services through different medium and channels. We hope to walk with you and show care to each other during the volatility of the pandemic.
